Gina P. Henderson (geraldine) has a degree in Architecture from the University of Houston but she does not design buildings. She designs INFORMATION. “The sky’s the limit when it comes to Design,” she says.  And for HER it is a reality.

Her studies in Architecture followed many years of training in professional ballet and moving from one area of expertise to the other she became convinced that they were intertwined: that the disciplines of form and function (Architecture) blended into the disciplines of imagination and movement (Ballet) to create a compelling, attention- riveting whole.

We all wish to convey information.  But this is not enough, in her view.  One must convey this information with originality and grace.  For over fifteen years, her unofficial title at Bechtel Corporation has been Information Architect / Web Developer. Many people have amazing ideas but simply do not know how to express them to others.  This is where she takes charge and when she has worked her magic, the plain, un-adorned “information” somehow becomes a stroke of genius . . . irresistibly original and full of promise.

What the Business World refers to as a “Presentation” she tends to think of it as a “Dance Performance.”  The “stage” as the screen.  The “dancers” are the words and information.  Entrances and exits are of great importance because they determine the “choreography” – the planned expression of the idea.  If the entire “performance” is skillful, those in the audience will become engaged . . . their minds will retain a positive and memorable impression.

Presentation-design is her forte.  She has been referred to as “a creative genius” by leaders from some of the world's largest corporations.  But she has handled other challenges:  digital photography, corporate identities, marketing ads, book design, events, . . . specialized cards and invitations.  And of course, her multi-ethnic background and extensive travel contribute to her sympathetic understanding of people’s needs and aspirations, in many areas and on many levels.  Big bonuses are her discerning eye for detail and her professional taste.

“Can’t be done,” is a phrase absent from her vocabulary.e
